Discuss on a wiki produces "No forum indicated"

I enabled the discuss pages on forums option, and entered a forum name in the wiki settings. Now, on some wiki pages, when I press the discuss button, the discussion forum is opened, and on some wiki pages I get the following error:

Error
No forum indicated
Go back
Return to home page

According to the documentation "Discuss pages on forums activates a discuss button on every Wiki page that takes users to a thread in the specified forum for that particular page.".

Where can I specify the forum for a page? What could be the reason some pages produce the above error and some don't?

HI!

Did you create the Forum by clicking the :: next to Forums and Admin Forums?

Make sure its created with the same name

Ah, I thought the forum would be created automatically when a user started to discuss a page. Would it not be better to either:

  • create the forum automatically
  • only show the discuss button if a forum with the same name exists

Meanwhile, I found what is happening. When first pressing the discuss button, a new thread is created in the default forum, and the user can enter a message...

However, when somebody later on presses the discuss button, the "No forum indicated" message is shown, even though the forum and the thread exist.

I can't find what is the problem. The lisk of the discuss button looks like this:
tiki-view_forum.php?forumId=1&comments_postComment=post&comments_title=blablabla&comments_data=Use%20this%20thread%20to%20discuss%20the%20blablabla%20page.&comment_topictype=n

The link contains the correct forumID, but tiki-view_forum.php gives an error as if it was not set... Any idea somebody?

Found the problem and fixed in in the meanwhile. See patch 891802 on SF
